Terms & Shipping

 

Ordering: Either in person or by telephone, placing an order from Richard Bubnowski Design is simple. By speaking with you, we are able to discuss your needs and the options that are available, along with any other questions or concerns you may have. We will confirm the overall cost of your purchase, sales tax if applicable (New Jersey residents), and shipping charges when you place your order. Lead-time may vary, but is generally between 12 and 16 weeks.

Payment & Fees: We accept personal checks and most major credit cards through Pay Pal. All orders require a down payment of 50% and a final payment due prior to delivery or pickup. Please contact us for discounts to design professionals. We may also be able to offer favorable pricing adjustments on larger quantities for customers not in the design industry.

For custom orders, we charge a nominal fee for the preparation of concept sketches. However, if you choose to go ahead with the commission, this fee will be credited towards the final cost of producing your furniture.

Shipping & Delivery: Smaller item charges are based on the particular destination and cubic volume of your order. This process guarantees that you are paying for the delivery of your furnishings, and not subsidizing another customer’s shipping rate. All pieces ship from our shop in Ocean County, New Jersey, via, Federal Express or United Parcel Service. Larger pieces are shipped thru specialty shippers such as Clark & Reid that blanket wrap each piece individually. Your furniture will be delivered right into your home or office and setup exactly where you want the piece to be located. This shipping usually runs about 12% of the total cost of your order. All merchandise is insured for its full replacement value. We can also arrange customer pickup from our shop; however, New Jersey sales tax is still applicable.

Cancellation Policy: When placing an order, please choose carefully as there are no cancellations or returns. All sales are final. Returns are for credit only. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Warranty: Richard Bubnowski Design, LLC does not guarantee grain, color, texture or any other variations that are distinctive of wood. These markings are natural and are characteristic of real wood. Wood is a natural, living product and will continue to act organically despite a rigorous process of seasoning, manufacturing, and finishing. In time, it may move, develop hairline cracks and have irregularities in the surface. It might also have variations in the color. These are essential characteristics of real wood and although we make every effort to attain the highest standards of manufacturing, we do not accept responsibilities for such inconsistencies or consider them a fault in the quality of manufacturing or materials. If however, our furniture should fail at any time of original ownership, because of workmanship or material, we will either repair or replace the piece at our discretion.

Intellectual Property: Richard Bubnowski Design, LLC reserves all rights to all furnishings it designs and produces. It is our company policy to apply for patents and copyrights on our designs, and to protect all intellectual property owned by Richard Bubnowski Design, LLC. Consequently, no furnishing may be reproduced, in any form, without prior consent of Richard Bubnowski Design, LLC. Richard Bubnowski Design, LLC reserves the right to revise design and construction or discontinue products without prior notification.
