Outbuilding Renovation

POINT PLEASANT, NEW JERSEY

The program for this garage renovation comprised design and construction of a new outdoor shower and dressing area. The remaining interior portion of the existing structure is used as storage for the owner's surfboards, fishing equipment, and gardening supplies. Contrary to conventional Arts & Crafts philosophy, the decision was made to express the structural elements in bright white, while natural finishes were selected to contrast with the stark white frame.
