Inspired by early Arts & Crafts and
Shaker furniture, the Skinnygirl Lingerie Cabinet is a modern version of an old
idea.
Featuring solid Cherry
construction with mortise and tenon joinery throughout, this cabinet is a
versatile piece that
would be welcome in any home.
The drawer interiors are constructed of solid Maple with traditional dust covers
and
the top of the cabinet features an
inlay of Ebony and Holly, reminiscent of the "stringers" found in traditional
surfboard
design. Given
to my wife Diana as a birthday present, this was our very first piece.
