Completed in 2008, this new 2 1/2 story, 2100 square-foot home is sited on a flat 50' x 150' lot. Located in a quiet neighborhood, this home is within walking distance of both the downtown business district and the nearby ocean beaches. An existing one-story rental cottage was to remain, while the original ninety year-old residence and garage were demolished since they were in the state of disrepair. Fitting appropriately into the strongly Shingle Style and Period House surroundings, the owner desired a home with an updated plan for contemporary living while maintaining the charm of the turn of the century indigenous coastal architecture.
