South Surf Road
SILVER BEACH,
NEW JERSEY
This new 3800
square foot house is located on a sandy oceanfront site along one of
New Jersey's barrier islands. The house will be used primarily
as a vacation residence for a Georgia family that have spent their
summers along the Jersey shore. Drawing inspiration from the
classic Shingle Style beach houses of the Northeast as well as
borrowing elements from the architecture of communities such as
Seaside and Rosemary Beach, Florida, the aesthetic of this house is
an eclectic mix of various styles that have been reinterpreted for
contemporary living. This house is currently in construction and is
scheduled to be completed for the summer of 2010.
